An intimate feel awaits visitors to the Astros' Osceola County Stadium in the popular Orlando area called Kissimmee. (They consider themselves the "Osceola County Astros" while here, since being called the "Kissimmee Astros" would leave the door open for, shall we say, a little mockery.) This park was built in 1984 and has almost a little league feel - and that's not a bad thing. Souvenier tables and roll-front concessions complete the illusion that you just came to watch the neighborhood kids. And with the fun the Astros bullpen has, that's a pretty accurate analogy.
This photo, which I created by "stitching" two photos together really shows the personable feel the Astros camp has. The bullpens down both lines are very fan-accessible, and players often interact with fans during the game. We had more trouble finding this park than any of the other spring fields, though. As you can see from the outfiled darkness, this park is more isolated than the others we had seen had been. Though just minutes from Disney, this place is strictly Astros territory.
